Tim plays classical music on Vandoren A28 and AL3 mouthpieces with Vanoren 3 Hand Select reeds and a BG gold plated ligature. He plays jazz on a Runyon Custom mouthpiece with Vandoren ZZ 2.5 reeds.
Tim plays The Martin Tenor saxophone (c. 1955) with the laquer removed with Saxgourmet brand kangaroo black leather pads and stainless steel Noyek resonators. He uses a Dukoff D8 mouthpiece and Vandoren ZZ 2.5 reeds with a Fortissimo ligature.
Tim does not own his own baritone at this time, however he normally uses a Selmer Series II baritone. Tim plays a Selmer S90 190 mouthpiece with Vandoren 3 reeds and a BG gold plated ligature.
Tim's soprano is a silver Martin Handcraft Low-Pitch (c 1933) with matte laquer and a gold-washed bell.
