Transcriptions

Over the years, Tim has made several transcriptions. As he wrote about in the Saxophone Journal, he believes that it is useful and important for saxophonists to study the repertoire of other instruments to be better at emulating their unique qualities. Furthermore, he believes a great deal of wonderful music was written before the saxophone became a popular instrument, and it would be a shame to miss out on it. Each of these transcriptions has been for his personal use.

Until now.

A few of these works are part of the public domain. So, Tim is making those available to the public. All scores and parts are in DRM-free PDF format. They are formatted to print on 8.5“ x 11” paper.

If you decide to play one of these transcriptions, let Tim know. It will make him happy.
